A fine tearful, grateful, goodby to the birthplace and home of Arnold BJJ. This Tuesday is the LAST day we shall assemble to chokeology. This place has been baptized in our sweat, effort … probably some blood. And we are grateful for all the time we spent here … shaking our neighbors above … and poaching their WI FI. ( tears of nostalgia ). BUT … we can always come visit you … oh basement of our youth … because Ed will still be boxing here. So we will come visit when we can.

What a Valentine’s Day Gift. They say the purple belt is the absolute HARDEST to get in BJJ. Its the moment you leave the casual BJJ practitioner and join the elite few who actually make it to PURPLE BELT. Its a TRULY monumental occasion and in true Kirk Huff fashion he snuck up and surprised Gage with the MASSIVE level up. SUPER SUPER CONGATS to Gage for having the grit and consistency that it takes to get there. Maybe it DOES make sense to present it on Valentine’s Day considering how much heart you have to have to get there.
