WHAT WHAT WHAT … WAD IT BE LIKE??? TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN. Congratulations isn’t enough. We need FIREWORKS. Michelle Schramm and Mason Stritzel.
Mason Stritzel isn’t even 20 yet and ALREADY a World Champion. Climbing over 65 men ( GOT DAYUM ) to snatch that medal. Adding to his already huge hoard of medals is now a World Title. HOW ABOUT THEM APPLES!!!
And Michelle Schramm achieved what she once though impossible. As a white belt she made a remark saying “she never be a world champion” But coach Dakota Rae Zimmerman and captain Kirk Huff told her WAY BACK THEN that she could be anything she was willing to work for. And this weekend they were proven right as Michelle ascended to #1 on the podium. And to top things off achieves her purple belt RIGHT THERE on the box.

SUPER CONGRATS to Mark Tueth for achieving the HARDEST belt in BJJ. The Royal Purple. Back in the day it was illegal to wear Purple unless you were royalty and Mark continues that tradition today because it takes hella heart and grind to get to purple. Purple is a HARD belt to get and Mark GOT IT!… So SUPER CONGRATS to Mark for achieving that great BJJ milestone.
As we all enjoy our well deserved labor day break, Taylor Leach and Melissa Sides will be enjoying theirs on another LEVEL. … That big BLUE BELT level. For anyone who has undergone the Vaghi Blue Belt test knows … you don’t know what “LABOR” is until you brave THAT test. And braved it they did … coming out the other end VICTORIOUS with a WELL DESERVED day of rest coming Monday. LOOOOOONG OVER DUE PROPS need to be shouted out to Bryan Mellberg for achieving what many call “The Hardest Belt” in Jiu Jitsu to achieve. As I was doing BrIAN Williamson’s purple belt post I realized i STILL haven’t done BrYAN Mellberg’s purple belt congrats post. So LOOOOONG OVERDUE …. SUPER CONGRATS to Brian for armbaring his way to the the top of Purple BJJ Mountain. Don’t leave your arms hanging around with this guy. His guard is like walking through a bad neighborhood. BIGGEST PROPS to him for reaching this achievement.
Brian DID IT. Against ALL ODDS Brian achieved what few people achieve. Where so many others quit Brian pushed through. Adversity after adversity nothing could stop this man. Not a lot of people know this but SantaKirk doesn’t just have two lists. He has three. One is the “Naughty list,” one is the “Good list” and the THIRD is the “Earned It” list. And these two boys eneded up so high on the “Earned It” list SantaKirk had to come EARLY this year. SUPER .. DUPER … Carol of the Bells -> CONGRATULATIONS to RANDALL ( The Ice Truck Killer ) ICE and DAVE ( King of the MuthaTruckin ) HILL for getting that WELL EARNED level up this Saturday.
