I'm 37, I'm from Murphysboro Illinois , I'm a pharmacy technition, I hold a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Adminstration, a minor in psychology and sociology. Obtained my degree in 2009 from Robert Morris University in Chicago illinois. I was a collegiate athlete in cross country and track from 2003 to 2009.
I started jiujitsu in December of 2014 in paducah and not shortly after transferring to cape Girardeau to continue my training. In 2017, I met Dakota Zimmerman, we continued our friendship for years after, communicating through texts and mutual tournaments. And through her I met Kirk Huff ( owner and Coach of Arnold ) . I then started cross training with them, driving 2 plus hours daily to train. In August of 2020, I decided to make the move to Arnold BJJ.
The main reason what kept me coming back to Arnold was Coach Kirk. His work ethic, the training formats , the sacrifices he makes daily for his student, and the fact that he just wants his students to succeed is what got my attention, he's selfless!!!
